Safegrid Treads is the Lionweld Kennedy range of stair treads. 

Safegrid Treads are manufactured using open steel grating from the Lionweld Kennedy Safegrid flooring range with a nosing bar fabricated to the leading edge of the tread. Our stair treads come with drilled end plates as standard to allow for attaching to stair stringers.

Available lengths: 800mm, 1000mm or 1200mm.

Product weights: 800mm (10.57kg), 1000mm (12.78kg), 1200mm (14.99kg).

Our 20mm Ball Proof (BP) Safegrid Tread stair tread range is the smallest pitch we offer and is designed not to allow the passage of a 20mm diameter sphere. Our 20mm ball proof stair treads are to be used above areas where personnel are working, as opposed to occasional passage. 

All Lionweld Kennedy stair treads have been designed to be fully compliant with both BS4592-0:2006+A1:2012 & BS EN ISO 14122-2:2016 standards.
